## About

Poderi dei Bricchi Astigiani is the Piemonte estate of the Gaslini Alberti family, owners of the Tuscan winery Badia di Morrona, who extended their winemaking into the region in 1999. The property sits near Isola d'Asti, in the Monferrato Astigiano hills, and farms about 15 hectares by organic methods, 10 of them planted to vine and surrounding the winery itself.

Barbera is the estate's principal grape, carried across three cuvees: an everyday Barbera d'Asti, and two barrel-aged bottlings, Bricco Preje and Bricco del Perg. A Barbera and Pinot Nero rosato, and two Metodo Classico sparkling wines, a Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc and a Pinot Nero Blanc de Noirs, complete the range. The vineyards have been steadily renewed since the 2000s; the oldest plot is now about 28 years old.

Isola d'Asti lies in the heart of Piemonte's Barbera d'Asti DOCG country, a short drive from the city of Asti.
