## About

I Parcellari is the project of Davide Canina, a Piedmontese sommelier who spent years curating wine lists for Michelin-starred restaurants before turning to winemaking himself. He started the venture in 2019 with his partner Monica Pedrotto, after a meeting with Agostino Malvicino pointed him toward selecting single small plots from grower members of the Produttori di Govone cooperative. Winemaker Claudio Dacasto, and since 2022 agronomist Maurizio Gily, farm and vinify each plot on its own. Rather than one estate vineyard, the project bottles named plots scattered across Govone in the Roero and Cioccaro di Penango, Costigliole d'Asti, Portacomaro and Grazzano Badoglio in the Monferrato: one wine per plot, from Nebbiolo, Barbera, Grignolino, Ruché, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Albarossa. Plots run under two hectares, with most bottlings staying under three thousand bottles a year. The Langhe, Roero and Monferrato hills where they sit were named a UNESCO World Heritage vineyard landscape in 2014.
