The family has worked these vines since 1886, when the land belonged to the Asinari marquises, and began owning them in 1914; today they farm 30 hectares and fill about 120,000 bottles a year. Sergio Gozzelino built the winery up and his son Lorenzo runs it now. The range leans on Barbera d'Asti, from the everyday bottling to Superiore selections such as Ciabot d'la Mandorla and Sergio, alongside Grignolino, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Moscato, a traditional-method Brut and a Barolo from La Morra. The family says weedkillers are no longer used and sulphites are kept low.
