## About

Francone is a family estate in Neive, now run by the fifth generation: brothers Marco and Fabrizio, who work with a small team. The story starts with Alberto, an innkeeper born in 1892, and passes to Giovanni Battista, who began making wine from the family vineyards in 1940 and built the present winery in 1964. An average year brings about 100,000 bottles, from vineyards farmed under integrated agriculture and the Green Experience protocol.

Barbaresco anchors the range, with single-vineyard bottlings from Gallina, Fausoni, Albesani and Starderi plus a Riserva and I Patriarchi. Barolo, Roero and Langhe whites, Barbera, Dolcetto, Nascetta and the Valsellera Metodo Classico sparklings fill out the list. Neive is one of the three villages that make Barbaresco, and Alba is ten minutes away.
