## About

Ezio Poggio is a family winery in Vignole Borbera, in the Val Borbera of the Colli Tortonesi, on the Apennine edge of Piemonte near Liguria. Now in its third generation, it is run by the siblings Ezio, the winemaker, and Mary. In 2003 they began recovering Timorasso, the old white grape of the valley, and the first vintage followed in 2008. Since 2011 the wines belong to the Terre di Libarna subzone of Colli Tortonesi, which covers the Borbera and Spinti valleys. The vineyards sit above 400 metres on clay and limestone, and output is around 30,000 bottles a year. The range includes two still Timorasso wines, a Martinotti sparkling, a Metodo Classico, a Barbera and Bonarda red and a Barbera rosé.
