## About

Eraldo Revelli is a family estate in Pianbosco, a hamlet of Farigliano in the Langhe hills of southwest Piedmont, a few minutes from Dogliani. Enrico Revelli founded it in 1930; his son Eraldo, born in 1951, took the reins with his brother Secondino, and since 2000 the estate has been steered by the third generation, Eraldo's daughter Claudia, who renewed some vineyard plots, the cellar and its equipment. The estate-owned vines grow on marl and clay soils with sunny, breeze-dried exposures suited to Dolcetto and Barbera. Vineyard work is done by hand, pairing traditional methods with newer agronomic practice, short pruning and hand-picked harvests for low yields. Wine matures first in steel, then partly in wood, before bottle ageing. The range stays to five wines: two Dogliani DOCG reds, a Dogliani Superiore, a Langhe Barbera and a Langhe Rosato. Farigliano lies within the Dogliani DOCG zone, the appellation built around Dolcetto in the Langhe hills southwest of Alba.
