## About

Azelia is a family estate founded in 1920 in Castiglione Falletto by Lorenzo Scavino, now in its fifth generation under Luigi Scavino. The family farms about 16 hectares across Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba and Montelupo Albese, more than 75% of it Nebbiolo, with Dolcetto and Barbera on about 5 hectares. Old vines are kept until they die, green harvests are done at least twice a year, and the vineyards are worked without chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers, with native cover crops and hand mowing under the row.

The range centres on Barolo: a classic blend of seven vineyards and the single vineyards Bricco Fiasco, Cerretta, Margheria, San Rocco and a Riserva from Bricco Voghera, plus Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba Punta and Dolcetto d'Alba Bricco dell'Oriolo. Castiglione Falletto is one of the eleven communes of the Barolo zone.
