## About

Amistà is a boutique Nizza DOCG producer located in the hills of Monferrato, Piedmont — a UNESCO-designated heritage site. Founded by Michele Marsiaj, the estate focuses exclusively on Barbera from vineyards in the Bricco di Nizza subzone, with vines ranging from 30 to over 90 years old. Under the guidance of world-renowned enologist Luca D'Attoma and vineyard manager Massimiliano Vivalda, Amistà practices sustainable viticulture with organic-certified treatments, cover crops, and hand harvesting. Yields are kept low (50-55 t/ha vs 70 allowed) to ensure superior quality. The wines are aged significantly longer than required by the appellation.
